Bexleyheath takes the Concorde Trophy
It was another great evening of photography as Bexleyheath, Crayford and Dartford came together for this year’s Concorde Trophy competition. As always, there was a real mix of styles and subjects on display, and the standard across all three clubs was impressively high.
From the outset it was clear this was going to be a close-run contest, with plenty of strong images catching the judge’s eye. Bexleyheath, however, managed to edge ahead with a series of standout entries that helped secure them the trophy this year.
Among the top scorers were Wayne Daniels with Extension, Paul Adams with Solar Cathedral, Mick Sadler with Spooky, and Danny Pearce with Statue of Liberty Nebula—a fantastic set of images that really showcased the strength in depth of Bexleyheath’s entry. Dartford also featured among the top marks, with Carole Quinn’s Through the Window earning well-deserved recognition.
All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable competition, full of creativity, variety and good-natured rivalry. Congratulations to Bexleyheath on their win, and well done to Crayford and Dartford for making it such a competitive and entertaining evening.
Roll on next year!
